Blinding high noon sun
Cars whizzing by on a two lane highway–mountains covered in glaciated ice to the left and a half-frozen choppy Cook Inlet to the right. Which would be a better death–a mountainside collision or drowning in the cold waters of the far north?
Two days of downhill action for the boys–this is so different from my Kansas childhood. I did not see a mountain until my late teens. They have known rugged ridges all of their lives.
I have this urge to make these bits into trees. Should I? There is a voice inside my head saying this would be childish, but then another voice says that is exactly why I should do it.
Another half-finished favorite just might make it to the quilting phase.
After waiting patiently for two months, Gertrude has arrived! My three-dimensional muse, my doppleganger, my very own dress form.
Good incentive to not gain any weight, your doppleganger…….
You are so right Carole. She did come with padding, but I hope to never use it!
From Arizona, your outdoor photos make me say Brrr! Pretty, too. Love your work in progress! Good luck with your dress form!
Arizona would be very nice right now. I am very excited about the dress form! Thank you for stopping by Denny.
Praying you keep your wheels on the road and out of the icy water!! Have fun creating.
Mary- I love seeing all of your oven mitts. Here’s to a fun year of creating for all of us!
