Afternoon snack and debriefing. Ignore the thread on the floor. Notice the unwelcome yoga ball that has decided to live in my studio. Two of them!
The Great Wall of Birch Street
Biology project in the works. I provided the materials but little assistance in the making of a felted wool tongue. Walt’s look says I might be being a tad bit critical of their handwork.
Gertrude is insanely excited about helping me design the looks for Object Runway. I am mildly anxious about the onset of this adventure.
18 hours of quilting on Crazy Daisy and oh so close to finishing.

Cathy, I would love to send you a pattern. Thank you for asking!
Have a fantastic birthday! Gertrude is lookin’ great in that sweater!
Thank you Sharon. I too love that sweater.
Happy Birthday Maria! Love, love, love that sweater. Can’t wait to see the whole bunch of them. Gertrude’s cute but she doesn’t talk back like I’m sure those handsome boys do!
Thank you Kerri! I love that sweater too. I originally made it for a fundraiser, and I just couldn’t part with–so I made another one.
Great sweater and amazing frost. Love all your boys too 🙂
Thank you Colleen. That sweater is my look for Object Runway. It’s based on a 1960s Pucci jacket pattern.
Hi, Maria, I’d love an oven mitt pattern if any are still available — earlier today I added a note to the blog where you first offered them but am asking again here since I’m not sure you’re still looking at that. Thanks so much for your wonderfully entertaining, educational, and inspiring blog!
