Last month, I wrote a blog post about handmade holiday gift giving. My all time most popular blog post is about fleece flannel blankets which are a standard gift of mine.
I also have made many, many artful oven mitts over the years.
In the post, I asked readers to describe their favorite handmade gifts. In exchange, I would send them an Artful Oven Mitt pattern.
The responses were so good, so intriguing, that when I emailed each reader to get her address, I asked if she would be interested in sharing photos of her handmade gifts with all of my readers.

Kay Welch is a Christmas stockings connoisseur. This is what she had to say about them. “I love making the stockings. I had ten from that particular quilt ( with the blue embroidery work) that I sent to Tennessee for the victims of the fires. There is a quilter/quilt group organizing a collection of stocking that will be filled and given to the children.” Isn’t that wonderful?
