Last night, we finished the first ever indie version of Three Points—A Triangle Workshop. It was a virtual roller coaster ride–full of points and degrees

Students came at the triangle from all angles—from avant garde deconstructed triangles to traditional quilt block patterns, to modern and contemporary designs.

It was very rewarding to see everyone’s ideas.

If seeing all of these cool triangle quilts makes you think want to take a workshop with me—you can!

Under the Influence–How to take Inspiration and Make it Your Own begins this Thursday, May 20, 2021.

Under the Influence is an advanced piecing workshop for students who have taken at least one other workshop with me. We will be actively searching for artistic influences and working to incorporate those influences into our own authentic quilts. Students will be led through a series of exercises that will result in a final large quilt composition
We will be holding LIVE virtual meetings on the following days.
Thursday, May 20, 2021 2PM—5PM ADST
Sunday, May 23, 2021 2PM—5PM ADST
Thursday, May 27, 2021 2PM—5PM ADST
Sunday, May 30, 2021 2PM—5PM ADST

You can determine what time the workshop starts where you live by clicking on this link. Enter Anchorage, Alaska for my time zone and enter your location for your time zone.

Each LIVE virtual session will be recorded and made available to participating students for approximately 45 days after the workshop ends.

Students will get personalized instruction, handouts, recordings, peer support, and MORE.
I hope you will consider joining us! Please follow this link to sign up.

P.S. If triangles aren’t your thing, I think you will like this piece by Dave Neagley from the workshop Riffing on Tradition. I will be starting an indie version of this workshop on June 8, 2021!
